1 Review on “Scream Time – Elvaston Castle”
For the money paid this is a poor quality event.
The first part of the trail is good, nice and aesthetic with a Halloween atmosphere.
The first scare maze is about 2 mins long, first and last room had good theming.
The zombie courtyard didn’t exist, this was 1 room in a house and a small garden, literally 20 seconds long.
Food and drink are extortionate pricing, second half of the trail very poor almost like they couldn’t be bothered to set anything up.
If I was to pay £10 for this event I would of raised my eyebrows but £23 each considering Xtreme scream was £31 is beyond a joke.
You can get premium and VIP tickets at a greater cost but for absolutely zero gain, we didn’t queue for anything as there was almost nothing to queue for.
This also has a 15 certificate when the scariest thing we saw were the hot chocolate prices, absolutely nothing scary, this is below a Pg rated event and for saying they have a one in a million setting, they have really gone way off the mark on this one.
Apparently there is a step up in scares from the children’s event which starts at 7pm but we saw no difference between the two events, a 5 year old child would of been fine going through both.
save your money or you will regret going, go to a decent scream park.
